This podcast - the first of a series of three - is to help aspiring writers understand some of the skills involved in writing fiction, in this case, short stories. It includes the first three of ten “Tips on Creative Writing” as well as: 

Authorial Voice; Omniscient Narrator; First, Second and third Person narration; and SOC, Stream of Consciousness. 

France uses examples from two of his stories: ‘Seer’ and ‘Day’ to illustrate these guidelines.
