Hidden Gems.
The world would have been her oyster,
from her shell where she was cloistered,
which left no where that she could voice her
pain that fate would foist upon her
as sweet love just passed her by.
Then a young man came to hoist her,
as his dance partner, someone choicer,
for a dance that would rejoice her
bringing no more tears of moisture,
to her sad, wallflower eyes.
In his arms she found new meaning,
as they set off in a whirl,
all her hidden beauty gleaming,
she became his perfect pearl.
sharing answers to her dreaming,
as he spun her in a twirl.
in another world
and love was born
between two forlorn
Love was born.......
This world is full of dirty pearls,
buried deep beneath the flesh,
in the souls of somewhat pretty girls,
one might find a lovely catch.
All they need is some encouragement,
from their doubts which do confine,
draw them out with hope and merriment,
then you'll see how bright they shine.
There are so many out there
waiting to glow for you
crack their shells
release them from their hells
find yourself a pearl of a girl
a girl who is a pearl
and share sweet love
you won't regret it
you won't forget it.
