“Even when we can’t see it or understand it, God is building his kingdom.”

God often conceals or hides away his work in the world so he can unveil it to his people with dramatic effect. In this passage, we see how God revealed the true glory of Jesus to an inner circle of disciples.

ABOUT THIS MESSAGE

Christians claim that Jesus is the King of kings and Lord of lords, and they look and pray for the coming of his kingdom on earth as in heaven. Yet every year that goes by, the world seems to grow worse and worse and drifts farther away from God. Are the people of God naïve or foolish for hoping for a kingdom we can't see? During this series through Mark's Gospel, we will see that God's kingdom is coming and is already here, but it is hidden by the same suffering and humility that characterized Jesus's life.
