Believers stop growing spiritually because of:

• Fear of failure (afraid to try) or disappointment (unanswered prayer)
• Offense or unresolved hurt-especially Church hurt
• Inconsistency without accountability-no one to disciple them
• Isolation-Trying to grow alone
• Lack of focus-looking at how other’s living and should focus on what God told them Ex. Jesus told Peter to feed His sheep. Peter asked Jesus what John was going to do.

Reframe

God doesn’t expose these things to shame us — He exposes them to heal us. God shows us other believers faults so we can restore them in private-not so we can expose them to the world. God wants to protect the sheep-not scatter them.
