Overview of the Sanctuary
Damon discusses what the purpose of the sanctuary was for ancient Israel. He discusses that the sanctuary was the dwelling place of God amongst his people and that it symbolized His relationship with them.
Damon explains how the sanctuary message is relevant for Christians today including references to the following scripture:
John 4:16
Psalm 77:13
Hebrews 8:1, 5
Damon touches on the idea of the sanctuary being a pattern of heavenly things as reference in Hebrews and briefly discusses how the ceremonies and festivals all point to Jesus as the sacrifice for our sins, our High Priest in heaven, the Passover lamb and the First Fruit offering.
