We’ve all heard the saying white picket fence life. Or white picket fence this, or white picket fence that. And what that phrase is means to suggest is that your perfect life is supposed to be go to school, get a job, find your forever partner, by your home with the white picket fence, and live happily ever after.

It’s the suggestion of perfection.

What a lovely little idea that is right? Super simple. Super doable. All is well in the world.

This is a past down blueprint of a happy life, that in reality holds no merit or reality as to how life truly is. Life is far from perfect, divorce rates are ridiculous, and if you live where I live, buying a home is not something most people can even do.

So, what the fuck?
