Even before COVID-19, there was already high growth and adoption in education technology, with global edtech investments reaching US$18.66 billion in 2019 and the overall market for online education projected to reach $350 Billion by 2025. Whether it is language apps, virtual tutoring, video conferencing tools, or online learning software, there has been a significant surge in usage since COVID-19.
Please join in a movement with Maddie who is a Head Teacher and Quality and Partnership Lead. We are discussing how school staff and parents both can work together to find new innovative ways to support and teach students today to prepare them and us for a better tomorrow.
Maddie in her own words…
I have always wanted to be a teacher, I didn’t have a great experience at school and I wanted it to be different for other children. The progression in my career has happened to be without me searching for it, my dream was to be a good teacher and make a difference and my professional journey unfolded in a way which meant that I have been able to make a difference to many children and I hope I continue to do so. I have worked in 4 schools, all in deprived and multicultural areas. I left the school setting in August where I was a Headteacher for 3 years, as I want to change the system of education and provision for as many children as I can and I believe that can be done in two ways; influencing strategic change on a local/national level and by supporting and developing school leaders through coaching and mentoring.
At the moment I am quality and partnership lead for SEN and Inclusion for a local authority, I support mainstream schools to improve the provision for children with Special needs.
I also mentor and coach leaders and have recently started supporting leaders with mediation in schools.

We need your help!
Over 1.2 billion children are out of the classroom right now.
We need everyone to start getting in together to create a community who are passionate about making the changes for our education system in the UK.
If you have ideas and want to support please get in touch and start supporting! If you are a parent you can help. If you are a student you can help.
Especially if you are someone of a level of authority or a teacher please defiantly get in touch. One united voice is better than trying to make small changes individually.
