Very abrupt ending

I liked the story and the H and h but it ended too abruptly and made it unfinished for me. Did his father recover, was his mother banished, did his uncle die????? Too many things unanswered at the end. I know it was a short story but all those loose ends still should have been tied up at the end.

Blanes Mercy

What a wonderful story, I read it in one day between mid morning chores till dinnertime. The characters came alive in my mind. So happy Blane made his own rules and let go of the past.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone that loves Scottish Historicals. Excellent job!!

Good book

Blane suspects his father's twin brother and his mother of trying to kill his father. Duff the twin brother and his mother are both vile people. This was a good story fast paced and sometimes it's nice to read a short story

Great story

I enjoyed this book and look forward to the next in this series. I did not care for are the orator.
