In this episode, we speak with Salvatore Custureri, researcher at T6 Ecosystems, about the design process of the PartArt4OW Open Calls. The first Open Call for Participatory Art Initiatives was launched to identify and support 19 of these initiatives that use art to spark civic engagement, raise water literacy, and mobilize local communities around specific environmental challenges. Each selected initiative receives funding, mentorship, visibility, learning and exchange opportunities.

Salvatore presents how T6 led the co-design sessions that brought together marine scientists, artists, activists, and community stakeholders. We applied our expertise in stakeholder mapping, participatory methodologies, and socio-economic impact assessment to embed our core values directly into the call. Curious about that?
