Join Chris in conversation with Killyleagh's Neil Foster. Neil trained as a pianist and percussionist working across contemporary and classical music. He talks about his early career including performing around Europe with leading orchestras and ensembles, including the BBC Symphony Orchestra, Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, London Philharmonic Orchestra, Scottish Chamber Orchestra.
Neil also chats about his work as a music therapist and and also his compositions which are described as "cinematic, expansive, colourful music inspired by dreams, landscapes, horizons and spaces of all kinds, bringing elements together through intuitive experimentation He uses pianos, synths, vocals, percussion, and sound samples which include local bird calls, the ocean, radio static, mountain wind, voices and urban noise."
