Reading the story of the migration of Prophet Muhammad (saw) and Abu Bakr (r) always elicits great emotions! It is a heroic story like so many of the stories from the seerah, and one that highlights an essential quality of Islam: a problem solving spirit. You may have heard the notion in a self-help podcast or at a training workshop somewhere, but for Muslims this notion is one rooted in spirituality. Today we remember this spirit and seek to make it a part of the good life that we seek from Allah (swt).
