Molly and myself got out on the southwest side of the Bridger Mountains

We have had such little snow in the valley that I did this one in my boots instead of skis, skins or snowshoes. However,

there was quite a bit of snow up there, and this was before we just got

dumped on again (stay tuned: some actual skinning in future episodes

may actually be possible!) Molly and I got chilly, I realized I made at

least 3 significant errors in planning judgement, and we came back down.We ended up just under 5 miles, but you'll hear how deep the snow was with me crunching through it on the mic.I am certainly going to be more prepared next time and bring Molly's jacket!If you have other ideas about essentials I need to bring on my hikes, please let me know. I'd be grateful.
