Author, avid hiker and hiking guide Matt Reeder (The Ruddy Hill Press) shares a collection of lesser traveled and fantastic hikes along northwest Oregon and southwest Washington. Listen to Matt discuss how he curated the fifty hikes from his book, what criteria he used and how things have changed between the first and second editions of "Off the Beaten Trail" 

Matt shares how his love for hiking started at an early age and how he manages to capture so many details about his hikes - including the gorgeous wildflowers found native in the area.
