This cross post from North Boros Beat shows how Bellevue Elementary is welcoming and inclusive to the growing immigrant population in their community.

Judy talks with Principal Dr. Michael Amick and mural artist Scott Brozovich about how Graffiti Arts cultivates student creativity at Bellevue Elementary.  A new mural celebrates the diversity of the school.  We also talk about how the changing student population both enhances and challenges life at the school.  We also touch on the growth of murals in the Pittsburgh area.

See our Facebook page, North Boros Beat Podcast, to see pictures of the Bellevue Elementary School murals.
