Hillary Clinton Embarrasses Herself Refusing to Support Sanders

On today's show , January 24th, 2020, we will discuss the recent interview published in the Hollywood Reporter with Hillary Clinton promoting a new documentary about her that will premiere on Saturday at the Sundance Film Festival. Joining the show is Monica Cruz from the Party for Socialism and Liberation as well as Dr. Nadia Marsh a women's health activist and physician from Harlem. When asked her thoughts on Bernie Sanders, she stated: “Nobody likes him, nobody wants to work with him, he got nothing done. He was a career politician.” She of his campaign, “It’s all just baloney and I feel so bad that people got sucked into it.” The day after, Hillary had to rescind her statement due to the public backlash.We then discuss the Trump administration's major assault on social welfare. The Trump administration is proposing to do about a million more of these reviews than the Reagan administration did over a similar time period.Next in our conversation, a French woman had her feet and parts of her fingers amputated after developing toxic shock syndrome from using a menstrual cup. Sandrine Graneau, 36, from Loire-Atlantique on the western coast of France spoke about the day she fell ill to the Le Parisien newspaper. We close with a report posted in Marie Claire titled “They're Single. They're Straight. They're Friends. And They're Having a Baby.” We discuss the realities of the struggles of women raising children and posit why women may want to turn to raising children with other women rather than their male partners.
