1. Abraham was saved by grace through faith. (Romans 4:1-24, Genesis 15:6)

2. Abraham is the father of all who are justified by faith. (Romans 4:11-17)

3. Faith has four parts:

                  Knowledge.

                  Belief. (James 2:19)

                  Trust.

                  A journey of obedience. (Romans 4:12)

• Read and reflect on Hebrews 11 as it talks about faith and people who lived and walked by faith.
• How easy is it for you to believe the promises God makes in the Bible? Do you take Him at His word, or do you like to have more proof?
• Do you sense that God is calling you to take a step of faith in some way?  If so, step out in faith and do or say what you believe God is calling you to do or say.

1. Genesis 1 changed the world.

2. God existed long before the universe. (Genesis 1:1-3)

3. He invited these creatures to share his fellowship. (John 17:20-21)

4. The universe at its foundation is about a loving, personal God. 

5. There’s a huge difference between the Creator and the creation.

    (Genesis 1:3-19)

6. God demonstrates both power and goodness in creation.

    (Genesis 1:3-25)

7. We are made in the image of God. (Genesis 1:26-31)

• Take time to appreciate the wonder of God’s creation.  Notice the colors, the birds, the plants, the animals, the stars, and the intricate design of everything He made. Praise and worship God for what you see!

• Appreciate the image of God in every person you meet – especially in those most different from you.

• Enjoy the gift of fellowship with people and with the Lord this week.
