Mark 2: 1-28; Matthew 9:9; Deuteronomy 23:25

In this chapter, we see Jesus using his power to forgive sins. He alone, as Master, Rabbi, and Teacher, has come to this earth to forgive sins. He also demonstrated his power of healing by restoring lives to wholeness, giving salvation and healing to the body. Jesus told the scribes that he was the Son of Man or God in the Flesh, the second person of the Trinity. The scribes wanted to avoid seeing Jesus for who He was and what he came to accomplish. Today, I encourage you to come to Jesus and ask for forgiveness of your sins. He will forgive you without hesitation and with arms wide open. He can heal your heart and any illness, for He is the Perfect Physician.
