We are commanded to understand God’s word (Ephesians 5:17), and we are able to understand God’s word (Ephesians 3:4). However, there are many who do not understand God’s word (Isaiah 6:9-10). We need to know the hindrances to our being able to understand God’s word in order to avoid them.
