Ahoy, Motherfuckers!

This movie revolutionized black comedies and, in my opinion, assisted in opening up more opportunities for black actors and actresses outside of the scope that they had been locked into. This was a labor of love created by Robert Townsend. He literally paid for this out of his own pocket, as well as writing this with Keenan Ivory Wayans, and spent seventeen days over two years putting this together, and it is a biting satire that still evokes laughter 34 years later.
