Job 8:8-10  For enquire, I pray thee, of the former age, and prepare thyself to the search of their fathers: :9  (For we are but of yesterday, and know nothing, because our days upon earth are a shadow:) :10  Shall not they teach thee, and tell thee, and utter words out of their heart? 

Sir 8:8-9  Despise not the discourse of the wise, but acquaint thyself with their proverbs: for of them thou shalt learn instruction, and how to serve great men with ease. :9  Miss not the discourse of the elders: for they also learned of their fathers, and of them thou shalt learn understanding, and to give answer as need requireth. 

Psalms 102:18 This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise the LORD.
