Whenever I’ve dealt with personal adversity and hardship, I’ve found I’m able to cope when I don’t feel alone and when I’m able to find the humor in the situation. When I talk about the hard stuff out loud with other people, the shame, guilt and isolation ease up and give way to new perspectives and silver linings. So with that in mind, I’m setting out to give voice to the stories and lessons learned during 2020.
