Mainstream commercial Shit Hop called Rap is over saturating the music scene (industry) currently. We hear the same 20 songs played over and over again (heavy rotation) on the radio... Lil Wayne, Drake, Nicky Minaj, Jay Z., Kanye West and etc...Is this real Hip Hop or Is Hip Hop dead? As Nas said or is it still alive and strong underground (just beneath the surface) awaiting a Rebirth of Slick (Originality)? Did Rap, the bastardized child of Slick (Originality) kill Hip Hop? Or is it "Rap" that is on its last leg?
