"HIP TO BE POOR" is about Donald Trump's 1990 financial woes, back when he split from Ivana and married Marla (both, now 2 of his 3 ex's) and lost many of his major properties, to the tune of Huey Lewis & The News' "Hip To Be Square."
What with Trump's current cancelation of his Macy's, NBC, & Univision contracts re Miss USA & Miss Universe, might we be entering into another phase of financial downfall for The Donald? We shall see, even as he seeks the Republican nomination for the Presidency of the United States.
Loose Bruce Kerr had a 20 year career "interruption" of his legal career as he performed his music & comedy coast-to-coast and in the Caribbean as a solo, duo with Steve Hoeft, or in his New England band in the late 70's, Spud City. He also opened for "Weird Al" Yankovic back in the day. He is currently a lawyer at Oracle in northern California's Silicon Valley and continues to record his videos and original & parody songs in his garage called, "The Garage," by recording his vocals and instruments one at a time.
