Stella DaCruz Arduser is an educator and leader who resides in Gainesville, FL, and currently serves as a district supervisor over instructional materials in the Alachua County Public Schools system. She is dedicated to the work of reaching and teaching every child through teacher empowerment and courageous conversations addressing inequities, especially in the BIPOC ( black, indigenous, and people of color) community. As a daughter of Angolan refugees, Stella grew passionate about grasping the American dream while paving the way for others as a member of the African diaspora. She is a four-time Florida Gator who extensively studied diversity and social justice in education, educational leadership, and organizational management.
