Managing team members inside of your home staging business is a fine art. You probably started your business as a one-woman or a one-man show, but what happens when you get booked up? Maybe you hired someone and they aren’t performing to your standards or meeting your expectations or you’re about to hire your first employee, and you want to do it right. In this episode, we also discussed incorporating diversity and DEI hiring practice for your home staging business. Enter Fred Rhodes, whose mission is to provide guidance and perspective to leaders, while building collaborative and healthy workplaces that support and serve every member of an organization who contributes to their respective communities. After my business coach brought him in to speak on hiring, team building, and diversity, I knew I had to have him on the show. We’ll also talk about diversity and inclusion issues at the end, which Fred discusses in the most calming and digestible way. It’s important to have these conversations so that we can understand our clients and potential clients better.
