Reports are showing that businesses, including restaurants, will be dealing with staffing shortages through 2023 with no end in sight. According to research done by the National Restaurant Association roughly half of the operators believe that recruiting and retaining workers will be their biggest challenge this year. Today we are discussing with the University of Hawaii and Windward Community College how they are assisting our restaurants and businesses find qualified employees, as these local colleges are developing our future workforce and leaders.
