When someone overcomes poverty to become wealthy and successful, he has gone from rags to riches. But when someone repents and trusts in Christ, he has gone from dust to glory. God formed man from the dust of the ground, but we fell into sin, depravity, and spiritual death. Jesus died on the cross and rose again so that we might share in his eternal glory. Have you exchanged your filthy rags of self-righteousness for the riches of God's grace?
