CERN: Opening Portals and Gateways in a Quest for the Secrets of God’s Universe?
On July 4th millions of American’s were celebrating America’s Independence. Kids waved American flags decked out in their red, white, and blue, and parents lounged in lawnchairs watching them as they excitedly waited for magnificent firework displays. Life appears to be somewhat back to normal in a post COVID lockdown world. Or is it?

Who knew that across the ocean in Switzerland scientists anxiously awaited a countdown as well, not for fireworks, but of a different sort--for the July 5th launch of the Large Hadron Collider in their quest to find dark matter, learn about dark energy, and the hidden secrets of the creation of our universe. I’m not getting this from a comic book or Avenger’s movie. According to CERN’s website their name was derived from the European Council for Nuclear Research (in French the acronyms spell CERN). They initially formed a laboratory to research the structure of matter and “to seek questions about the universe.” This led to a joint effort between scientists all around the world, and the creation of a “Large Hadron Collider” (LHC)—the world’s largest and most powerful “particle accelerator” which was turned on and started up in 2008 and utilizes “proton beams”.

It also utilizes superconducting electromagnets with accelerating structures to boost energy levels of particles and requires a temperature of -271.3, which is colder than outer space. They claim to use it to study antimatter and to have discovered the ”Higgs Boson,” the particle linked to giving mass to particles. According to the Epoch Times article from 2019 this discovery is “a door into new physics” and “a priority for any future high-energy physics accelerator.”

CERN credits themselves with creating the World Wide Web and the “GRID” which connects and powers computers all around the world. Their claim to fame for “particle accelerators and detectors” have been used in medical diagnosis and computer chips all over the world in addition to PET and MRI scanners. And of course, the star creation at present, the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) in their determination to uncover the secrets of our world.

On July 5th, after three years of prepping for the 2022 launch, scientists turned the LHC back on “to run for FOUR YEARS at the record speed of 13.6 trillion electronvolts (TeV).” So how is this launch different from the other two times they launched the LHC? According to their website, this launch means

“increased collision rates, higher collision energy, upgraded data readout and selection systems, new detector systems and computing infrastructure.”

In 2015, the Epoch Times reported that even back then they were also searching for “dark matter.” Dark matter particles, reportedly make up 85% of the universe and can hypothetically be produced using high energy collisions at the LHC. CERN states that one theory about dark matter is that there is the existence of a “Hidden Valley”, or a parallel world to our own. They are trying to use the LHC to provide proof of this “parallel world” and recreate the “Big Bang Theory.” They go on to discuss “Dark Energy” associated with “vacuums in space and time.” Is it just me or does this physics experiment seem be setting the stage for a really bad scientist apocalyptic movie or even perhaps end time events?

So that is some of the science behind CERN, according to their news releases and website. Now let’s discuss the creepy mad scientist dance ritual released by CERN and brought to my attention by Clay Clark’s most recent research into CERN. It just goes downhill from here folks, brace yourselves. This dance occurred in the confines of the Large Hadron Collider and many have claimed the scientist dancing in the creepy video to be depicting the Hindu dance of “SHIVA.” The Hindu God of Destruction. According to Israel 365 News, Sergio Bertolucci, Director for Research and Scientific Computing at CERN in 2009 stated that they could possibly open portals into the unknown when he was quoted as saying, “Out of this door might come something, or we might send something through it.” The video clearly appears to be the

So if you take into account the science experiment and pair that with the creepy ritual dance and statements about opening “portals” and “doorways” it seems to be a recipe for disaster. Luckily, as Christians we have the blueprint of things to come. We know that no matter what dark matter, dark energy, opening of portals, or other mad scientist experimentation occurs, in a vain attempt to “recreate” God’s universe, that we place our faith in the Almighty.
