It's Avery's birthday soon and we're celebrating by checking out one of their favorite recent horror movies: His House. Released on Netflix in 2020, His House was Remi Weekes' directorial feature-length debut about a refugee couple from South Sudan who are given asylum in a derelict (and probably haunted) house in England. The film stars Gangs of London's Sope Dirisu, Loki's Wunmi Mosaku, and Doctor Who's Matt Smith in a hair-raising tale packed with atmosphere and important messages.
