We’re just about finished with our study of Romans. In the sixteenth chapter Paul makes mention of a number of people he served the Lord with and considered very dear friends! He very much loved and appreciated them. And we’ll hear his greeting to them momentarily. But first we’ll learn about a dear woman that he entrusted this letter to, who also had a need that someone in Rome could help with.

We’re nearing the end of our studies in Romans. And as we do, we’re getting to know the apostle Paul on a personal level. He writes in this letter to the church in Rome, about why he does what he does and the recognition that he’s only an instrument in God’s hands. We can learn a lot from Paul’s example, as he shares his goals, plans and even a bit about the opposition he faced.

There are some things the Bible is very clear about. But then there’s another area we’ll refer to as our liberties. Things we have the freedom to do or not do. Today on His Perfect Love we’ll see that sometimes it may be best at times to refrain from exercising them out of love for others.
