This weekend we stop to remember the great blessing that God has given us in His Holy Spirit. To be sure, we cannot say Jesus is Lord, we cannot become a Christian in other words, unless the Holy Spirit causes it to happen (1Corinthians 12:3). More than that however, we also recognize that in sending us His Holy Spirit, our Lord Jesus is also sending us His wonderful presence! He promised, “I am with you always!” and by the power of His Holy Spirit...He is with us always. Thank the Lord Jesus today for His promised presence! Thank the Lord Jesus for “His Promised Holy Spirit!”
