**CORRECTIONS*
At one point when quoting John 4:35, I accidentally omitted part of the verse. The other times I read it, I read that part correctly. However, here is the verse: "Do you not say, ‘There are yet four months, then comes the harvest’? Look, I tell you, lift up your eyes, and see that the fields are white for harvest."
When I said, "Seeking out people; saving people; restoring people to relationship with God; forgiving our sins" I was referring to what Jesus does. I was not implying that we ourselves can save people, restore them to relationship with God, or forgive their sins. Nevertheless, Jesus works through us.
I paraphrased John 7:17. Here is the exact quote: "If anyone's will is to do God's will, he will know whether the teaching is from God or whether I am speaking on my own authority." Support the Show.
