John from UCC and military historian Gerry White are both authors of The Battle for Cork The Burning of Cork respectively and both were involved in assisting the presenting of a new exhibition – open now – at St Peter’s North Main Street on the ‘battle for Cork’ of 1922 as seen through the lens of WD Hogan.
