Juan Manuel de Rosas es una figura central de la historia argentina que supo despertar apoyos fervorosos y odios viscerales. En el siglo XX se creó a una corriente historiográfica para reivindicarlo y desde 2010 un feriado conmemora la batalla de la Vuelta de Obligado que decidió su gobierno en 1845. Para conocer más sobre su historia y los debates en torno a rosismo entrevistamos a los historiadores Raúl Fradkin e Ignacio Zubizarreta.

Conversamos con la historiadora Marcela Ternavasio sobre su último libro "Los juegos de la política. Las independencias hispanoamericanas frente a la contrarevolución" (Buenos Aires, Siglo XXI Editores, 2021). El libro aborda una coyuntura crítica para estas independencias que va desde 1814 -cuando una gran expedición de reconquista está organizándose en la península- a 1820 -cuando los liberales españoles ponen un freno al absolutismo de Fernando VII y revela las incertidumbres, cálculos e hipótesis establecidos por los actores en el contexto.
