Ho-Ho-Ho-ly War upon us! The final episode of 2022 and the first episode ive released in 6 months (thanks college classes!). I am joined by Evan Moorer of Black Mans Log (on youtube and instagram) to go over one of the mini-Crusades that went on in between the big Crusades. This one was unique in that it was the beginning of the inquisition as a powerful hand of the Church and much like the Spanish one, nobody expected it, but a LOT of southern France found out the sharp way. This is part 1 of 2.
Joined by the weather guru, Brandon Moorer (bmoorer5 on Twitter), to talk about the contentious election that ended the Reconstruction Era and nearly caused a second Civil War.
Joined by the ever lovely Jordan Shear ( on Instagram as _puckdaddy) to talk about the reasoning behind Washington's point of making the US Army get old school vaccinated and how without it the United States wouldn't have existed as we know it.
Firstly, there was an audio issue with the mic, whoops! Besides that, I was joined by Drew Brigner to talk about the cause of the French Revolution, the Diamond Necklace Affair and the final words of a loudmouth idiot.
History is full of weird moments and one of those was definitely the Battle of Castle Itter. This had it all; defecting Nazis, renowned French POWs, a cigar smoking American tank commander and a real movie like story. Joined by the esteemed John Hemphill.
Japan may have been instrumental in causing Russia to become Communist, but Russia would get some ice cold revenge that would lead directly to Japan;s fatal choice to fight with the United States. Joined again by Evan Moorer of BlackMansLog (now on TikTok)
Returning from my "movecation" I am joined by Evan Moorer of BlackMansLog (on Youtube, Insta and TikTok) to talk about part 1 of 2 events that directly led the Japanese to attack Pearl Harbor and bring the United States into World War 2.
Joined by Drew Brigner to talk about the Last Roman General, Belisarius, and the first half of his life which included saving his close friend Emperor Justinian from a roving angry mob of Byzantines. All through the simple, but effective method of murdering everyone.
Joined by writer, actor, poet and gummy bear enthusiast, Shane Thompson (Instagram: shanemichael1987) to talk about that time in the 1990s when the USSR fell apart and a little country called Albania was destroyed by literal pyramid schemes.
Joined by Evan Moorer of BlackMansLog to talk about the tumultuous time Pope Formosus had in death as his body was used, quite literally, as a political tool that spanned over a decade.
