While former Confederate generals cast about for scapegoats, with various officers pointing fingers at Robert E. Lee, James Longstreet, and James Stuart, historians and avid Civil War fans became obsessed with studying and analyzing all the command decisions and army movements during the entire campaign. I purchased this book to read with my children before ...

I purchased this book to read with my children before a trip to battlefield. While informative it was not very engaging.

another HUGE hit!

I'm a big fan of American history, especially the civil war! So when I do my reading for the day I ask my mom to download another book if she has extra school money for it. I also suggest other books of this series because it shows maps and everything!

The Battle of Gettysburg

I would recommend this book for a bird's eye view of the battle of Gettysburg. I have read other accounts of this battle but like to read shorter accounts also.
