Everything comes full circle this week, as Scott and Aaron remember vaccine pioneer Edward Jenner and evolution teacher John Scopes. (Though Aaron’s not too keen on what Scopes did with his career after he lost his teaching job.) Also, Scott remembers a woman who sailed across the Atlantic (despite limited skills) and another woman who made major contributions to the field of astronomy – despite having no formal education. (And Scott and Aaron learn about the history of vaccination in real time, thanks to a slight date-related confusion.)
