This Epsiode gives you the history of IR35, where it came, who campaigned against and importantly how it works.
We look briefly too at how it has changed. If you want to understand the basics of IR35 then it is a good place to start.
My name is Philip Ross, I was involved in the original campaign against IR35 in 1999/2000 as the political director of PCG (now known as IPSE). I am still involved with the freelancing movement and in the campaign against IR35. My day job is an a freelance consultant doing contract work.
