As St Joseph tried to rebound from a costly Civil War. The migration of settlers moving west continued.

Outfitting turned into wholesaling and distribution. Wagon trains turned into steam engines as 100 trains per day once rolled into St Joseph.

We will look at this evolution as the City moved from turmoil to the golden age creating wealth and affluence never seen before in the Midwest.
