The Sydney Kings, the purple & gold. The "merger" of the West Sydney Westars and the Sydney Supersonics in October 1987 gave berth to a new glamour club in the NBL. Part 1 sees former Sydney Kings Captain Brad Rosen and Matt McQuade join Julian Daw to discuss the period from 1988-1999 that encapsulates the beginning of the club, the move to the Entertainment Centre, D-Train, Kenny Mac & Three-O Keogh. Sellout crowds, Leon Trimmingham & Hammer Heal just to name a few. It was a dramatic rise in popularity and eventually an equally spectacular fall from grace.
