In this part of the series, the prodigal son finds himself alone, in want, with no food and no one to turn to. He attaches himself to a farmer who sends him out into the wilderness to watch over the pigs as they eat the carob husks. He has hit the lowest point that a person could hit in their culture ...but then he comes to himself!!
