## Fraternidad
This week's theme Fraternidad was chosen by @guitarmcy and I thought I'd give Keane's "Somewhere Only We Know" a shot, a beautiful song that speaks to many people, which is why it fits the theme perfectly in my opinion.
The song has been on my "to learn"-shelf for some time as it's been one of those songs that just never wanted to stick in my head, and I don't like using sheets. These weekly Open Mics are always a great opportunity to finally learn those as well as new ones.
I will most definitely need to practice this one more as it turned out a little too fast here, so apologies for that.
Keane - Somewhere Only We Know
The lyrics of this song, which was released in 2004, are just so magical!
I love the notion of a secret place that only your close friend or friends know about and when I listen to the song I always see myself in some mystical wood walking over soft moss, and only this morning did I in fact sit by the river in St Neots with my dog Mia and I felt complete.. haha
There she is being curiously observed by a swan.. and by me...
That position is a typical "I'm gonna roll in that" position.. lol
The Video
I have done a double-take on this one again, using my little Lumix camera for the bigger picture and a phone for the close up recording both at the same time.
I must say, that I enjoy putting these together now that I "know" what I'm doing..
