This is Hive Open Mic Week #271, my name remains @mamab on the platform. It's another exciting moment to share love and belongingness on hive through music. Beautiful salute to the admins, moderators and everyone who is contributing in one way or the other to the growth of the community.
This week we are looking at the theme "the mountain". I will be singing the cover of a hymn from the hymnal titled "I'm pressing on the upward way". I believe mountain is a relative term, it means different things to different people. In my interpretation for the week, mountain is seen as the top where good things abound. It is God's desire that we enjoy the goodness of life, but most times the enjoyment does not just come until you rise up to responsibilities and work. Our blessings easily flow through the work we do.
We are meant for the mountain not the valley. May God grant us the grace to keep climbing until we get to the top.

Still praying as I onward bound,
“Lord, plant my feet on higher ground.”

By faith on Canaan’s tableland;
A higher plane than I have found,

Un hermoso saludo a los administradores, moderadores y a todos los que están contribuyendo de una forma u otra al crecimiento de la comunidad.
Esta semana estamos reflexionando sobre el tema "la montaña". Estaré cantando la versión de un himno del himnario titulado "Estoy subiendo a lo alto" (en inglés "I'm pressing on the upward way"). Creo que la montaña es un término relativo, significa cosas distintas para diferentes personas. En mi interpretación de esta semana, la montaña representa la cima donde abundan cosas buenas. Es el deseo de Dios que disfrutemos de lo bueno de la vida, pero la mayoría de las veces ese disfrute no llega hasta que asumimos responsabilidades y trabajamos. Nuestras bendiciones suelen fluir a través del trabajo que realizamos.
Estamos hechos para la montaña, no para el valle. Que Dios nos conceda la gracia de seguir escalando hasta llegar a la cima.
