Happy day Hive Open Mic community!. Here in the last hours of the week 109 I wanted to bring you my participation with the theme of Cometa de Papel. This piece is a composition by Eladia Blázquez and was the second track of the album Fantasmas by salsa star Willie Colón in 1981.
I chose this song for this week because it tells that noble story of a boy who dreamed of a paper kite, kite, parrot, whatever you want to call it, and the lyrics are based on freedom, although it makes it very clear that even they have their stumbles and their end, depending on the direction of the wind.
This video was shot between me and @zorajr at home using my Yezz1 Max Plus. The photo was edited with PhotoDirector. Buscando altura mi ideal
Tratando de explicarle que la vida es algo más que darlo todo por comida
Y he sido igual que un papelote
Al que un mal viento puso fin
No se si me faltó la fe, la voluntad, tan sólo se que me apartó de ti
En amores sólo tuve decepción
Regale por no vender mi corazón
Hice versos olvidando
Que la vida sólo es prosa adolorida que va dando lo mejor
Y dando heridas, esta vida
Y ya vez que este cansancio sin final
Hizo trizas mi sonrisa de cristal
Cuando veo un papelote de papel

Esta pieza es una composición de Eladia Blázquez y fue el segundo track del disco Fantasmas de la estrella de la salsa Willie Colón en el año 1981.
Elegí esta canción para esta semana porque narra esa noble historia de un niño que soñaba con un un papelote, cometa, papagayo, como quieran llamarlo, y la letra se basa en la libertad, aunque deja muy claro que hasta ellos tienen sus tropiezos y su final, dependiendo de la dirección del viento.
