Hi everybody. Introducing myself, my name is Theophilus Sinaga and I come from Indonesia to be precise to the city of Medan. Today, the weekly #openmic event has entered its 144th week with the theme Melodic Dose. This theme was chosen by @lyon-89, one of the great singers and spotlight artists in this hive community. The Hive Open Mic weekly music event is very interesting to me because it provides challenges from each theme of the week.
In this week's theme, I will perform a cover song entitled “Every Body Know” written and popularized by Citra Scholastica. In my opinion, this song is suitable for this week's theme because the lyrics tell about a woman who already feels normal seeing her partner or ex with another woman. In the chorus, he said that everyone knows that this man is a playboy and also a liar, so this woman is no longer surprised by his behavior and doesn't even feel any feelings for this man anymore.
The song Everybody Knew is Citra Scholastika's debut song as a singer which was released in 2011 after coming out as Runner Up in the Sixth Season of the Indonesian Idol event in 2010. This song is also included in Citra's main song in her debut album entitled "Pasti Bisa" which was released in 2013. I also often sing this song while playing the guitar with my school friends, when we are hanging out with friends on the outskirts of the rice fields. while enjoying a cold drink.
