Hello Music lovers of Hive!
It's been quite a while that I have not participated on the weekly Hive Open Mic. But I am grateful I am back now. I was scanning through the entries for this week's theme In love with Nature and Mother Earth., and everyone did a great job. I love the theme. I have always love nature and the feeling I get everytime I have close encounter with the wonderful creations all around me.
It passes all my understanding how every element works just perfect. In the morning when I send our children to school, I always look up the sky and give thanks for another day. The sun, the clouds, the air that we breathe indicates we are truly love by the One who created all of these we are enjoying. It is our solemn duty to protect and preserve it.
So I taught of singing this song today, Colors of the Wind by Vanessa Williams. This song serves as a reminder that that we don't own this Earth we lived in. We must learn to respect and co-exist with every living thing there in. I love this song from the movie, Pocahontas.
Here is the lyrics:
Colors of the Wind
You think you own whatever land you land on
You think the only people who are people
Have you ever heard the wolf cry to the blue corn moon,
Come run the hidden pine trails of the forest
The rainstorm and the river are my brothers
How high does the sycamore grow?
And you'll never hear the wolf cry to the blue corn moon
You can own the Earth and still
Loving the lyrics of this song. Thank you for listening! Thank you @wizj for this theme.
Until next time!
xoxo,
Met
