Hello Hive open mic week #198, my name is @Sayofunmi and here I bring a cover to participate this week with the theme "Rebellion". My entry for this week is the cover of a song titled "Jailer" by a renowned Nigerian female singer, song writer and instrumentalist.
Asa is an amazing singer that understands the value of good lyrics and instrumentation. She always makes sure her songs are those that can be sung and interpreted both the young and the old.
The very moment I came across this week's theme, I knew what song to present immediately. My country Nigeria, is a type of country where a lot of corruption takes place On a steady. As a matter of fact, they see corruption as one of their daily activities. My country Nigeria can be and would be have been a very good place to stay and live in considering the fact that we have a lot of mineral resources enough to cater for the country was long as it exists but because of our greediness lack of contentment and selfishness we by-cut the right and legal ways to acquire wealth or any other form of achievements.
It is so disheartening that people know the truth see the truth but they refuse to act the truth no say the truth, all because of their selfish interest. I can categorically say that this behavior has caused rebellious acts and I believe this will continue if we don't put a straight end to this. Rebels are rising by the day all because they feel corruption is the only way to get whatever you want and it shouldn't be so.
This act of ours is becoming life threatening but I still believe and hope that things change for good and that should begin with possessing a good and positive mindset as a Nigerian. God is helping us all.....

Hola Hive semana de micrófono abierto #198, mi nombre es @Sayofunmi y aquí traigo un cover para participar esta semana con el tema "Rebelión". Mi entrada para esta semana es la versión de una canción titulada "Jailer" de una reconocida cantante, compositora e instrumentista nigeriana.
Asa es una cantante increíble que entiende el valor de las buenas letras y la instrumentación. Ella siempre se asegura de que sus canciones sean aquellas que puedan ser cantadas e interpretadas tanto por jóvenes como por mayores.
En el mismo momento en que me encontré con el tema de esta semana, supe inmediatamente qué canción presentar. Mi país, Nigeria, es un tipo de país donde se produce mucha corrupción de forma constante. De hecho, ven la corrupción como una de sus actividades diarias. Mi país, Nigeria, puede ser y habría sido un muy buen lugar para quedarse y vivir considerando el hecho de que tenemos muchos recursos minerales suficientes para abastecer al país mientras exista, pero debido a nuestra avaricia, falta de satisfacción y Por egoísmo, evitamos las formas correctas y legales de adquirir riqueza o cualquier otra forma de logro.
Es tan desalentador que la gente sepa la verdad, vea la verdad pero se niegue a actuar con la verdad y no a decir la verdad, todo por su interés egoísta. Puedo decir categóricamente que este comportamiento ha provocado actos de rebelión y creo que esto continuará si no le ponemos fin directamente. Los rebeldes se levantan día a día porque sienten que la corrupción es la única manera de conseguir lo que uno quiere y no debería ser así.
Este acto nuestro está poniendo en peligro nuestras vidas, pero todavía creo y espero que las cosas cambien para bien y que eso debería comenzar por poseer una mentalidad buena y positiva como nigeriano. Dios nos esta ayudando a todos.....
