Hello and welcome to Hive Open Mic week 262. The theme of the week "Holy Week" in the spirit of the celebration of easter which is a period that is used to make the death and the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The hymm writer talks about the power of the blood of Jesus to wash our sins, the main purpose of Jesus's death on the cross of calvary rising up from the death after three days is significantly dying in our place for us to be save for eternal condemnation. His death is a sacrifice for the atonement for the sins of humanity, by Jesus's sacrifice dying for the sin of humanity is a show of selfless love. The death of Jesus brought about a direct communication to God, fostering us to be able to talk to God directly without going through a priest.
