Hello beautiful people of Hive Open Mic. I am @anniebest, and this is Hive Open Mic Week 284. It’s been some weeks since I last made a post here, and I can truly say I am filled with joy to be here this week.
For my cover this week, I chose the song “Watarana” (meaning One day or Someday) by Sir Billy ft. Chris Dickson. This song resonates deeply with me because it reminds me of how limited and short our journey on earth really is.
I still remember the beautiful moments I shared with some of my loved ones around this time last year. They would often say, “Happiness, these are my plans for the new year,” but sadly, some of them never made it past December. The most shocking moment for me was on January 11th when one of my beloved relatives passed away in an accident. It still feels like a dream.
Through all of this, I have come to realize that the best time to serve the Lord is now. There can never be a better time, because tomorrow is not promised to us.
I pray this song blesses your heart as much as it has blessed mine.
