Amigos de Openmic en su semana número 87, parece mentira que ya van 87 semanas de este concurso tan divertido y ameno, en verdad es más que un encuentro de músicos, he aprendido que en esta comunidad convergen semanalmente familias enteras con un fin y es el ser felices a través de la música, por eso agradezco a @cabelindsay por crear este con curso, y agradezco a todos los que apoyan cada semana a los usuarios que participan dejando su alma en cada canción, feliz semana y todo el éxito del mundo para todos los usuarios de esta comunidad. Friends of Openmic in its 87th week, it seems incredible that this fun and entertaining contest has been going on for 87 weeks, in truth it is more than a meeting of musicians, I have learned that in this community whole families converge weekly with one purpose and that is the be happy through music, that's why I thank @cabelindsay for creating this with course, and I thank everyone who supports each week the users who participate leaving their soul in each song, happy week and all the success in the world for all users in this community. Esta semana quise catar una canción muy especial y con mucha historia, "Tres palabras" ha sido una canción que ha sido cantada e interpretada por grandes artistas del habla hispana con mucha trayectoria, yo solo me voy a referir a dos de esos maestros que dejaron huella y sembraron en el corazón de sus fans una melodía y letra fantástica, ellos son: Javier Solís y Luís Miguel. Aunque es una canción con solo dos estrofas, en ella se describe mucha pero mucha vida, y estoy seguro que este tema ha unido a muchas parejas a través de serenatas y grandes recitales. Espero estar a la altura de estos dos increíbles artistas hispanos.
This week I wanted to taste a very special song with a lot of history, "Tres Palabras" has been a song that has been sung and performed by great Spanish-speaking artists with a long history, I am only going to refer to two of those teachers who left imprint and planted in the hearts of their fans a fantastic melody and lyrics, they are: Javier Solís and Luís Miguel. Although it is a song with only two stanzas, it describes a lot, a lot of life, and I am sure that this song has united many couples through serenades and great recitals. I hope to live up to these two incredible Hispanic artists.

OSVALDO FARRES Y LA HISTORIA DE SU CANCION “CON TRES PALABRAS”.
Corria el año de 1947 y la cantante mexicana Chela Campos le pide al compositor cubano Osvaldo Farrés que componga una canción para ella. Farrés se niega, vacila, no se siente suficientemente motivado. Pero la mexicana no se da por vencida. Insiste. Vamos, Maestro, si con tres palabras se hace una canción, le dice, y Farrés acepta el reto. Compone la canción que Chela Campos le pide y la titula precisamente así: “Tres palabras”. Ya para entonces Farrés había entrado en Hollywood por la puerta ancha cuando en 1940 su bolero Acércate más fue el tema de una película que interpretaron Esther Williams y Van Johnson.

It was the year 1947 and the Mexican singer Chela Campos asked the Cuban composer Osvaldo Farrés to compose a song for her. Farrés refuses, hesitates, does not feel motivated enough. But the Mexican does not give up. He insists. Come on, Master, if a song is made with three words, he tells him, and Farrés accepts the challenge. He composes the song that Chela Campos asks of him and he titled it precisely like this: "Three words." By then, Farrés had entered Hollywood through the wide door when in 1940 his bolero Come closer was the subject of a film performed by Esther Williams and Van Johnson.
